Very helpful both doctor and receptionist team.
Left with what I needed was told I might have to rebook another app, however won't mind if it was here again.
My name is Eliese Bull. I'm 36yrs old.
I had an appointment at Ritchie Street IHUB this morning at 8:12am.
I'm unable to travel on the tube. So I left my house in junction rd n19 at 7:20am. I was still waiting for a 43 bus at archway station bus stop at 7:35am. I then tried to google the number for Ritchie street ihub service. To which I got a bunch of pre-recorded messages, not a human being. I then tried to see if there was a general number for the IHUB appointments. But found nothing.
So I arrived at Ritchie street Ihub at 8:20am. I then approached the receptionist. Who explained that she would need to ask the nurse.
Then Nurse Emma Dirken came out into reception, the receptionist informed her that I had arrived.
Emma Dirken was facing the receptionist, had her back to me. "I'm not seeing her she is 20mins late" I the interjected and stated that I arrived at 8:20am, that my appointment is for a dressing.
Emma Dirken then said " I'm not going to finish my shift late because you can't turn up on time for your appointment".
She did not let me explain that I had tried to find a number to call them.
I need daily dressing as I had an operation to incise and drain an auxiliary abscess on the 2/2/17 at uch hospital. I have attended many appointments at the different ihub locations and I been early for everyone of them. Except today. They have all been very helpful and pleasant. All except this Emma Dirken.
My appointment was at Ritchie Street Ihub at 8:12am on Saturday 18/02/17.
I have ten years experience working as a healthcare assistant at a neighbouring practice in Islington n1. That was River place health centre.
I worked there from 2003-2013.
I have done many dressings for patients, I would never turn them away. I would always fit them in.
Because if you leave a dressing unchanged it promotes infection and delays the healing process.
Emma Dirken has made me feel extremely upset and highly disappointed that this individual is representing a caring and empathic profession in such a poor manner.
I will NEVER come to RITCHIE STREET IHUB again, see Nurse EMMA DIRKEN.
Quite frankly she should think about a career change.
Very helpful and considerate doctor.
Great to get appointment out of work hours.
Sen quickly, dressing changed quickly.
